Job Description:

Bestview Institute of Modern Technology is looking for a creative and experienced Graphic Designing Instructor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching students the ins and outs of key graphic design software including Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Premiere, Adobe After Effects, and Corel Draw. This role involves both theoretical instruction and hands-on training to ensure students are well-prepared for careers in graphic design.

Responsibilities:

 

    1. Teach Adobe Photoshop:

       

        • Fundamentals: Teach the basics of photo editing, retouching, and graphic creation. Cover essential tools and techniques such as layers, masks, filters, and color correction.

        • Advanced Techniques: Introduce advanced features like 3D graphics, animation, and extensive photo manipulation.

        • Practical Projects: Engage students in projects that require the application of various Photoshop tools and techniques, encouraging creativity and technical proficiency.

    1. Teach Adobe Illustrator:

       

        • Vector Graphics: Instruct students on creating vector graphics, including logos, icons, and complex illustrations. Cover the use of essential tools such as the pen tool, shape builder, and gradients.

        • Advanced Illustration: Teach advanced illustration techniques, including working with brushes, patterns, and advanced pathfinding.

        • Design Projects: Assign practical projects that allow students to apply their Illustrator skills to real-world design challenges.

    1. Teach Adobe Premiere:

       

        • Video Editing: Teach the basics of video editing, including importing footage, cutting, and arranging clips. Cover essential tools such as transitions, effects, and color grading.

        • Advanced Editing Techniques: Introduce advanced editing features such as multi-camera editing, audio editing, and the use of advanced effects and transitions.

        • Practical Exercises: Design projects that require students to create and edit video content, applying both basic and advanced techniques learned.

    1. Teach Adobe After Effects:

       

        • Motion Graphics: Instruct students on creating motion graphics and visual effects. Cover key tools and techniques such as keyframing, masking, and working with layers.

        • Advanced Visual Effects: Teach advanced visual effects techniques, including 3D animation, tracking, and compositing.

        • Creative Projects: Engage students in projects that require the application of After Effects skills, encouraging experimentation and creativity.

    1. Teach Corel Draw:

       

        • Vector Illustration: Teach the fundamentals of vector illustration, including creating logos, illustrations, and layouts. Cover essential tools and features such as node editing, color management, and typography.

        • Advanced Features: Introduce advanced Corel Draw features such as power clipping, mesh fills, and advanced text effects.

        • Practical Applications: Assign projects that allow students to apply their Corel Draw skills to real-world design challenges.

Qualifications:

 

    • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or a related field. A Master’s degree or relevant certifications (such as Adobe Certified Expert) is preferred.

    • Professional Experience: At least 3-5 years of professional experience in graphic design, with a strong portfolio demonstrating proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere, After Effects, and Corel Draw.

    • Teaching Experience: Prior teaching experience is preferred. Ability to explain complex concepts in a simple and engaging manner.

    • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Premiere, Adobe After Effects, and Corel Draw.

    • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to engage and inspire students.

    • Creativity and Innovation: A creative mindset and the ability to inspire creativity in students. Willingness to explore and incorporate new design trends and techniques into the curriculum.

    • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills to manage course materials, student records, and administrative tasks. Ability to plan and execute lessons effectively.

Timings:

 

    • Timings: This is a part-time position with a standard work schedule of Monday to Saturday, 06:00 PM to 10:00 PM. Additional hours may be required for grading, preparation, and student support.
